Karen Edwards

Karen joined the team in March 2010 and performs a variety of roles, including PA to Pastor Jon and ensuring that the office runs smoothly!  She is married to Stephen, and they have a wonderful young son (Rory).

Both Stephen and Karen oversee and are active contributors to the ever growing kids’ ministry.  They are passionate about children encountering the reality and presence of God, and their work in the kids’ ministry is testament to that!

They have also spent time in the mission field, where they preached the gospel to the people of Niger and saw lives changed by God’s power and grace!

Pastors  Scott and Loretta  Stewart

The Church at Stirling would not be what it is today if it were not for the dedication and time invested by Pastors Scott and Loretta.  They planted the church in 2001, and established it to a position of strength and influence.  In the January of 2010, Pastor Scott handed over the mantle to Pastor Jon, and he focussed his efforts and attention on a branch of the Jacob Plan.

As part of the Jacob Plan, Pastor Scott teaches the Biblical importance of honouring Israel for its past, standing with it in the present, and looking to it in the future as we approach the return of our Lord and King.  He also teaches the scriptural principle of uniting the Jew and Gentile together, and takes this message across the world to those hungry to know the Truth.

The Church at Stirling was founded by Pastors Scott and Loretta back in 2001.  Their legacy of church planting across the globe and wealth of experience in the Word and ways of God  provided Stirling with a new and vibrant church community, which has gone from strength to strength over the years.

In January 2010, Pastor Jon Cluett was established as the Senior Pastor, and Pastors Scott and Loretta shifted primary focus on to The Jacob Plan (which you can learn more about by clicking on the tile on our home page).

Pastor Scott still maintains an Apostolic oversight over the church, and we believe that the New Testament model of Apostles and Pastors working in close relationship greatly benefits the local church (Ephesians 4:11&12).

Mission Statement

This year brings a fresh and exciting focus for The Church at Stirling.  Pastor Jon is pioneering the principle of the 3 Rs:

- Reach the lost with the Gospel:  undertaking the great commission, set by Jesus (Matt 28:19)

- Raise a champion church: building a community of faith that operates on the principle of excellence

- Resource the wider church body: sending the gifts out to equip our brothers and sisters worldwide

We aim to serve the Lord with our whole heart, giving Him our very best, and honouring Him with all that we have.  This attitude is reflected in how we approach every ministry, from our worship through to our kids’ work.  He deserves the best we can give, and our team of dedicated volunteers have a heart to give Him nothing less than that!

 Join us this year as we change the city, the nation, and the world for the glory of His Kingdom.
