Pastor Jon Cluett is the Senior Pastor here at the Church at Stirling.

Pastor Jon graduated from the University ofStirling in 2002 (BSc Evironmental Science) and has undertaken further studies in Glasgow and back at the University of Stirling.  He was awarded his doctorate in 2007.

Pastor Jon is married to Helen and they have been part of the Church at Stirling since March 2003.  They are fully committed to serving the church where, as well as Jon being one of the pastors, Helen leads the “Tots” ministry.  They combine their ministry-involvement with being the parents of four young children (Ellie, Benjamin, Rebekah and Allysa) and having lots of adventures!

They both enjoy rock climbing and mountaineering, travelling, reading and spending time with friends.  Jon is also a mountaineering instructor.

He is passionate about people having continual life-changing encounters with Jesus, and about this Church accurately reflecting Jesus to our community.  He is constantly challenged by the scripture Ephesians 1:17 – 19… it’s all about Him:

…(I pray) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding[a] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power…
